Since 2011 Alkira Secondary College has limited the enrolment of students to those living within a designated neighbourhood boundary. This designated boundary was established and approved by the DEECD South-Eastern Victoria Region (SEVR). DEECD guidelines are followed in processing enrolment forms. Applications for entry to Alkira Secondary College are processed when one of the following categories is met:
1. Residential Enrolment - The prospective student and their family live within the zoned area as shown under Neighbourhood Boundary link.
2. Sibling Enrolment - The prospective student has a brother or sister already enrolled at Alkira SC.
3. Regional Approved Enrolment - This applies to a student who has an SEVR approved special consideration for “significant individual or family circumstances” that prevent enrolment at the nearest government secondary college and requires enrolment at Alkira Secondary College.
